When you use Buoyant, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and organization details when you create an account. We also collect the documents and data you upload to the platform, including RFPs, proposals, resumes, and project sheets.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve Buoyant's services. Your uploaded documents are processed to enable proposal generation and knowledge bank functionality. We do not use your data to train AI models. Your data is never shared with other customers or third parties except as necessary to provide the service.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. Your organization's data is stored in isolated environments. We maintain SOC 2 Type II compliant infrastructure and conduct regular security assessments.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account termination, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Third-Party Services
Buoyant uses third-party services for infrastructure, hosting, and AI processing. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than providing services to Buoyant.
Your Rights
